Black Friday Australia 2026: popular household products to compare

This guide contains affiliate links. Qualifying purchases may earn us commission. Read our research and disclosure policy.

A useful Black Friday purchase should earn its place in your home. This shortlist starts with household categories that appeared in Amazon Australia’s past Black Friday coverage, then narrows them to specific products you can research. It is a preparation guide, not a list of confirmed 2026 deals or a current bestseller ranking.

Products to compare

Check the exact product and total price

Ninja Air Fryer Max AF160ANZ

A single-basket example from the Ninja AF160 range. Compare usable cooking space, bench clearance and the meals you cook. This is a watchlist item, not a confirmed Black Friday offer.

Why these household products are on the watchlist

Amazon Australia’s published 2023 bestseller recap included several air fryers, a conventional vacuum and a robot vacuum. Its 2025 sale announcement featured air fryers, portable spot cleaners and dishwasher tablets. That supports researching these categories; it does not prove that the exact models below will be the most popular or cheapest in 2026. We selected everyday uses and clear comparison points rather than seasonal decorations.

Air fryers: compare one basket with two

The Ninja AF160/AF160ANZ and Philips NA352/00 are two examples with different layouts. One basket may suit meals cooked together; two drawers may help when a main and side need different settings. Write down three meals you actually make and measure your available bench space before comparing. A larger litre figure does not establish better value. Our separate air-fryer guide explains the practical differences.

Spot cleaners: a specific job, not a replacement vacuum

The BISSELL SpotClean 36984 is a portable wet spot cleaner for suitable carpet and fabric areas. It is not a dry vacuum or a whole-room carpet washer. Check the care label, manufacturer instructions, cleaning solution costs and storage before adding it to a list. If you would use it only once, compare the total purchase cost with the alternatives available to you.

Dishwasher tablets: compare the cost per wash

For products you already use, an ordinary refill can be more relevant than a new appliance. Finish Ultimate Lemon 70 Pack is one example to compare with your usual detergent. Match the range and tablet count, then divide the final delivered price by the number of tablets. Keep one-off prices separate from subscription offers. Do not buy a large supply merely to reach a delivery threshold.

When are Black Friday and Cyber Monday in 2026?

Black Friday falls on Friday 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday on Monday 30 November 2026. Individual retailers may start earlier or use different sale windows. This guide does not confirm Amazon Australia’s 2026 event dates, participating products or future discounts. Record a price baseline now and check the actual offer when you are ready to buy.

How to tell whether the price is a saving

Compare the same model, colour and included accessories across retailers. Record what you would pay today, including delivery to your postcode. At sale time, compare that recorded total with the new total. For example, an illustrative $240 baseline and $210 sale total differ by $30; a large discount against an RRP tells you less about your own saving. Check any membership, refill or subscription cost separately.

Use a short list for summer and Christmas

As the Australian summer and Christmas approach, prioritise an item you already need or a gift with a clear use and an agreed spending limit. Replacing a worn product can be sensible; duplicating a working one can make the household budget tighter. We are keeping coffee-machine buying guides with the distinct Aussie Brew brand. Rest and bedroom ideas remain in our separate Sleep & Dreams section.

Our research and the next price check

We checked manufacturer descriptions and matching Amazon Australia listing identities on 2 October 2026. We have not tested these products or verified a current sale price, seller offer or stock level. Listings and pack sizes can change. Use the free Sale Price Check below, then open the retailer page to confirm the model, seller, delivery and final price. The lowest-cost decision may be to wait or use what you own.
